Stunning vanilla and incense

This is simply a stunning fragrance. I will be on the lookout for a cheaper-ish price (if I can find the OG at all). But it is definitely worth it for me and I would certainly suggest to at least give it a try.

Everything I expected

I love the fact that I can get that pastry note! Every note is definitely there. Great fragrance, only downside for me is that it is a little too much on the sweet side, but again that's a "me" thing. I would definitely dig it if a lady wears it occasionally.

absolutely gorgeous perfume

The first of L'Art & La Matière perfumes I'm testing and it does not disappoint. Beautifully blended, sparkles on skin, showing off a masterful composition with a gorgeous, blooming, fresh rose as a center point, together with candied violets and just a hint of fruity sweetness (notes say raspberry but I swear it comes off as this juicy cherry on my skin instead). It goes through a few evolutions during the drydown, with the first hour being a more blooming floral and the powderiness returning slowly with time as the more volatile notes get subdued and musk comes in stronger. Impressive performance of ca 10-12 hours longevity and at least moderate sillage during all of that time (sic!).
The decant came packaged well and the atomiser works good.

A really unique scent. The smokiness comes off strong on my skin but due to my homelands' national Christmas dishes it fits really well. Woody, resinous, deep, multifaceted. Great longevity.
The bottle did not leak and was packaged really well.
