Quite an aromatic opening, with anise and licorice, gives way to smoky tobacco and olibanum, with occasional pulses of rich, sweet tobacco leaf. Be aware that the is not the kind of mass-appealing tobacco fragrance like Naxos, Herod, or The One - it's complex and you must enjoy the dominant smoke/birch tar note. However, that complexity is a wonderful thing. It's always revealing new facets as the fragrance evolves, and it smells very high quality
